KBS's "Music Bank" production team officially complained to Spanish club Real Madrid about the cancellation of the planned performance in Madrid, Spain.
KBS said in a statement on the 20th, "On the 13th, Real Madrid C.F. (Real Madrid) and Bernabeu (Santiago Bernabeu, home of Real Madrid) announced that "all music performances scheduled to be held at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium until March next year will be canceled due to the continuous raising of sound-taking issues by neighboring residents," adding, "Until such an article was published by local media, Real Madrid did not make any official request or prior discussion with KBS about the cancellation of the performance. "As of September 19, six days after Real Madrid first announced its decision to cancel the music bank Bernabeu performance, Real Madrid has not given any official explanation or apology to the tens of thousands of K-pop fans waiting to see the performance," he said. "This is even more unfair."
"We continue to receive confirmation inquiries from K-pop artists about the cancellation of the performance," he said. "If the performance is suspended, the disappointment of the nine K-pop artists who took nearly 20 hours to travel from Korea to Madrid and worked hard to meet Spanish fans will be significant."
At the same time, KBS urged the club to make another effort to resume the performance ▲ to explain and apologize for the unilateral cancellation of the Real Madrid club ▲ moral financial responsibility for the cancellation of the performance ▲.

KBS was scheduled to hold a performance of "Music Bank in Madrid" on Oct. 12 at the Santiago Bernabeu, the home stadium of the Spanish giant Real Madrid.

On Friday, September 13, Real Madrid C.F. and Bernabeu announced that "all music performances scheduled to be held at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium through March 2025 due to continuous noise issues from surrounding residents."
